Welcome  Located in the spectacular South Platte River Valley less than one hour southwest of Denver, Crystal Lake was established in 1872. As a popular stop along the Denver South Park & Pacific Railroad, Crystal Lake functioned as an ice production facility in the winter and a resort in the summer. and expanding the resort with the intention of building upon its former
grandeur and taking it into its second millennium. The 200 acre resort
presently includes a seven room bed and breakfast with a central lodge.
The resorts on-site, award-winning caterer, Trout River Catering,
serves fresh Colorado influenced cuisine. An event pavilion, overlooking
Crystal Lake and the South Platte River, plays host to numerous weddings,
reunions, conferences and other private events, all of which are proudly
catered by Trout River Catering.
